Firework

Guy Fawkes - Remember, remember, the 5th of November. This is my unofficial anniversary as my husband and I started dating on this day in 1986. We got married on the 6th November 1994 and so this weekend we celebrate 25 years together and our 17h wedding anniversary. Fireworks have always been a reminder of our anniversary and this song now has a special significance for us!

I had a busy Saturday - Optician appointment, modeling lesson, some shopping at Brightwater Common and then home. The reason this is so tiring is because there is a 1 hour journey to Sandton, then the running around and finally an hour trip back home to the dam!

The boys went to the MX track to ride and we all met up at home at teatime. Luckily I had bought a fresh milk tart for us to share.

My day actually started around 6am when I heard a microlight flying over our house. Not long after I heard a hot air balloon but I had such a bad headache that I couldn't get up to take photos. I was so disappointed to miss two Blip opportunities so close to home!

My day has finished with a great tasting chicken stirfry made from fresh ingredients. (Even if I say so myself)

PS I am actually so glad they have banned fireworks. Even though I love to watch them, they are so cruel for animals. My Blip tonight is just a birthday sparkler!
