Our Anniversary - 26 / 18 years

In 1986, on the 5th November, Guy Fawkes, Mr G and I started dating. We were 16 years old. That was twenty six years ago. Eight years later we got married on the 6th November 1994. It was a hot summer's day and we had chosen an outdoor venue for our wedding. We have beautiful photographs with Jacarandas in the background.

It is truly amazing how time flies and life unfolds in ways you don't expect.

All I can say is that we are life partners - soul mates! Incredibly our love has grown over the years deeper than I could ever have imagined. We are eachother's best friend and I think we truly are one. We don't exist without the other.

I know how truly blessed I am and every day I am thankful that he is in my life and has been for the last 26 years!

These are not my original wedding bands as they were stolen from me in 2008. We bought these as a replacement and I only started wearing them a year after our robbery. At that time they didn't mean anything to me but people do often remark about my pretty rings and I they have become special to me as they still represent our love for eachother. Mr G also has a new ring which he wears. It is a Russian wedding ring with the bands entertwined.
