Gift to self from Suffolk

When I visited the local community shop I treated myself to this little winter flowering viola. I have just the pot for it outside on a wall. The drive back was long so I left mid-morning. I just had time to unpack and have a brief respite before leaving again (poor Mike). I had a ticket for a concert at the Sage in Newcastle and the bus left Northallerton at 5.30pm. I was lucky to make it as so much rain had fallen, there were huge pools of water on the lane I drove along. The engine stuttered but thankfully I came out the other side and continued on my way. The concert was very good and the venue is superb. I wish I had taken my camera really as the views of the Tyne with it's many illuminated bridges can be seen from the Sage windows. I just had to look at the view longingly in the interval while I demolished a Magnum!
