C'mon, Humans!

Son and I could no longer stand it this afternoon, so off we went on a hike, Murphy at our sides! The sun was shining down once again like liquid gold, the temperature was mild, and the woods called out to us!

It became obvious to us (as it does every year at this time) that Murphy was so misnamed! We should have called him "Hoover", as he cannot be beaten when it comes to gathering all the leaves along his way!

Son burst into laughter, stating that it looked like the little lad was floating along....his legs are so short, it appeared they were not even moving! The leaves were so deep, his legs just disappeared. Thus, Murphy "floated" along, his coat swaying and gathering leaves, as we enjoyed a most wonderfully beautiful November afternoon!

Murphy was never very excited about getting his photo taken, so when his little paws popped up over this log and his little "smiling face" appeared, I had to snap quickly! It looked like he was calling out, "C'mon, humans!"
