What a Blessing

We are so missing our liitle Angus....it is so incredible how a little dog can etch his pawprints on our hearts.

I have been so overwhelmed by so many friends and family offering their condolences, both online and through traditional mail. The cards pictured above were received over the course of the past several days.

The pretty card with the dog and cat is from the emergency veterinary hospital that saw him. The other day, I received the card in the center, with the little Scottie with a halo, from a Scottie friend in Canada. We met several years ago when Angus was about ten months old. Linda not only sent a card, but also enclosed a packet of wildflower seeds to sow a garden in memory of Angus! What an amazing and thoughtful idea!

As an aside, I tried to find a good place to display the cards and seeds, but it seemed nowhere in the house was appropriate. I finally got the idea to go outside and place them in the leaves. I think Angus would give that a big "paws up" since he so loved the great outdoors!
