A poorly sick car...

I think the car is terminally ill. I think we should put it out of its misery before it gets any worse.

It died a death today just as I was about to go and pick my son and 5 of his friends (and one of their mothers) up from the cinema. I had to do some hurried ringing round to find a lovely lady who would do the pick up for me.

The kids were a bit gutted as we were supposed to be going over to church this afternoon but as the car was broken, and church is currently in a different town (until we move) that was going to be tricky. However we were really touched by a girl from the church who came over from the town to pick us up so that we could get there and then her fiance dropped us back off again later.

We know some utterly lovely people!

So tomorrow will involve a trip to the mechanic and we are hoping that the car can be patched up enough for us to be able to part-exchange it for something that will go.

What a fun day!

Tomorrow I think I will build more model village and possibly make a Christmas Cake.
