Brass Bands and Cathedrals

We went to see the Reg Vardy Band play in Durham Cathedral. My son plays the baritone and my daughter the French Horn so I thought it would be a good thing for them to see a good brass band play. They tell me that they really enjoyed it, so I think it was a success.

It is quite a lovely venue, though I'm not sure its acoustic was the best for hearing a brass band play. All in all we had a brilliant evening out as a family.
