Bathtime Baby

2years 3days - but still happy to be a scrummy, snuggly baby after bathtime, wrapped up on my lap for the dry the baby song.

Been a long day for Katiemoo at nursery, new longest day in fact. About as long as its possible for her to go really. Its been a mixed day for her. Huge positive was that she did not have a single accident all day, and they finally stopped putting a nappy on her for nap time (I've not done it since she went into pants but they wanted to). She was in exactly the same clothes as when I dropped her off.

We'd taken cake with us for her to share with her friends and the staff told me that at lunchtime they put candles in it and all sung to her, and that she really liked it. Other than that, it was a bit of an up and down day for her. I think because she'd had some very special and fabulous mummy and friendies days, she wasnt impressed at being back at nursery. She had a good couple of hours sleep, which didnt surprise me at all.

She makes me laugh though. She's taken to wearing last winter's bunny slippers again, and was wearing them when I dropped her off. She was still wearing them when I collected her! They said when she'd gone outside, she'd put her wellies on, but immediately she came in, she insisted on having her bunnies back. Gorgeous but funny little creature!

She was really excited to come home today - "go home find my pretty colours" she said most of the way, then "katie play with my kitchen". Bless her, she had a bit of a play, bit of tea and then it was splash and bedtime. She took no persuading at all to go to bed - she conked out as soon as I tucked her in.
