Katie seems to have settled very well into her role as newly turned 2 big girl. She looks older. Looks like a big girl. And I last night built her first scooter. She came down to it this morning and was very excited. It's going to last her rather a long time but she loves it! And yes, it is as pink as it looks, but is very fabulous. She also thinks its very funny to send Mummy scooting round on it. She got a helmet this weekend too for on her scooter and bike, although currently she likes to put it on at her whim and take it off if I try to fasten it properly.

She's had a bit better day at nursery, they said. Some big progress is that for sleep time she now lies down on a little bed and just goes to sleep, not needing rocking off in the cradle chair. She's learnt thats what happens then and just gets on with it. She had one accident today, but they said it was after she'd had a long sleep and they didnt get her to the toilet in time. She's got her first sponsored school event - a "listen-a-thon". They have to listen to stories, and be paid money for it, to raise money to buy more stories!

Again, she was really very ready to come home and was asking to "make cuppa tea in kitchen" most of the way back. She has also trundled round with her shopping trolley gathering "stuff". I suspect if anything is lost, thats the first place i should head to.
