More knitting

I started a scarf with a new yarn this evening. This is a portion of it. It does not knit quite so evenly as the Rico Pompon but I think it will be OK when completed. It will certainly be warm and we are going to need to cope with a bit drop in temperature as the weekend approaches.

Today was quite wild and windy. I spent the day at home doing some catching up jobs. Then Mum and I went to see "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" this evening. I did enjoy it. Mum found it very slow and hard to follow the speech. One of our friends said afterwards, "now all I need is to see it again to work out what happened!"
