Delicious!

Early in our walk from Haltwhistle today we turned a corner on the Haltwhistle Burn path and met these Highland cattle. They were happily chomping away and not to be disturbed by a few walkers.

Our walk took us to Aesica, then west along the Hadrian Wall Trail into the teeth of the wind. Thankfully the temperature was mild and the wind was behind us later in the day. We visited Walltown Crags and the new Peace Labyrinth there. It was a great day out.

Excitement grows steadily and inexorably in the group as the Walking Festival gets nearer. Only 3 days to do and bookings are still coming in.
