Mud, mud.................

The Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival opened today in glorious autumn weather. It was perfect for walking. A few places were a bit boggy (see above) but nothing to daunt our intrepid walkers.

This group were on Hadrian's Wall Trail west of Birdoswald where we had a lovely tea stop. I have no idea why they are clinging to the wall.

Tomorrow's forecast is as good. Hooray.
