Chris Davalle's dad

It's my friend Chris's birthday today to I drove from Chorleywood to Braughing for a late afternoon catch up.

Chris's pa was the first TV and film editor on The Times newspaper and a fine and charming man.

We both like their house very much, although they are thinking of moving it'd be a shame.
