Winchester Cathedral

This is one of the 4 David Austin roses we have in a bed outside Mum's workroom. The Alnwick Rose has flowered prolifically all summer and is still covered in blooms. Winchester Cathedral is rather dwarfed by Alnwick, but produces beautiful fragrant roses. I like the range of colour you can see in the white petals.

Today has been very hot, bringing out butterflies and flies alike. I've been under the weather and I'm not sure if I'm starting with a cold. So there was no walk for me today and I'm just hoping I'll be fine for a weekend away in Melrose.
