Toots in Solitude

By Toots

Now you see me...

...now you don't.

Luke and I spent some time at the harbour at Port Seton. It was gloriously sunny with a warm breeze and the sun set into a fiery red ball.
Luke spotted some seals again. This one was giving us such a sweet look and the golden sun rayed down upon him and so he is the chosen blip.

The washing machine repair man came today and charged £35 for stepping over the threshold. Chatting with my good friend Andrew and trying to outdo each other in our assiduous attempts at frugality I learned today that he never uses a washing machine, just washes by hand. I think he is leagues ahead of me now that I know that.

Now this evening my kettle has blown, For my morning cuppa I'll have to get a saucepan on the go. Unless I nip out and buy a new one, but that is a bit of a catch 22, I need the cuppa to get going.
