International Kite Festival

Went over to Margate to have a look at the International Kite Festival that took place this weekend. It had drawn a fair few people, though there didn't seem to be many kites flying. Mind you, things might have improved later in the day - I was there in the morning.

The quality of this photo isn't great. When I put my camera on to take some photos, I discovered that the boyfriend had been looking at photos taken the night before and had left the camera on, so the battery was dead. Joy. So this was taken with my mobile.

I also had a quick round the Turner Contemporary Gallery's exhibition on youth. If you're near to Margate, I recommend you go - it was excellent, and I'll be heading back over there soon to have a more indepth look at it.
