Lonely Rhino!

We went to Howlett's Animal Park today. It's run by the Aspinall Foundation, and do loads of good work in animal conservation, releasing a lot of animals back into the wild.

I bought a passport on this visit - although I found out that I could have been getting in free with my Blue Peter badge! Still, I guess every little helps in terms of finance.

The three rhinos were separated, but this one was clearly missing his/her friend in the next paddock and stuck their head over the fence for a chat. The other rhino went up to this one for a second or two, and it really looked like they were having a gossip but my camera decided to go on a go slow so I didn't catch that shot!
