Hacked off.

In a good way!

What a turn around from how I felt yesterday. Spent the day sawing branches off trees, chopping away at bushes and getting rid of a year's worth of dead things in pots. Now that I can see our patio again (I knew it was there somewhere!) I shall pressure-wash it tomorrow, then fill my pots with live plants on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday shall be spent tackling the flower borders and no doubt Saturday I shall be nursing my poorly arm - but it'll be worth it. It was an absolute disgrace.

After school, we descended en masse at the hairdressers to partake in more 'hacking', although thankfully the hairdresser was much gentler with us than I was with the garden!

The hairdressers is called 'Gorgeous' and I love phoning up to make an appointment because it's the only time anyone ever says to me 'Hello, Gorgeous'.
