The Adventures of Pippin

By kmcameron

Pippin jumps into the driving seat.

No matter what is going on in life, Pippin always manages to make me laugh. Tonight, when I got home, I left the key to the back door in my car, so after supper I went out to get it and she came to offer me some assistance. As soon as I opened the door, she just jumped right in! So then, of course, I had to go and get my camera.

She loves the car. Even just going on a short journey is amazing in her eyes. I once drove to my sister's flat and didn't have the heart to force her into the back seat, so I put her harness on in the passenger seat (where she had taken up residence) and she just thought that was the best thing ever. She usually does a lot of singing on car journeys, but I seem to remember on that particular occasion she was unusually quiet because she pretty much had a 360 degree view.

Anyway, I felt a bit bad that I didn't take her anywhere tonight. And that I shut her in while I went to get my camera. But she didn't try to get out when I opened the door again and actually had to be lifted off the seat cos she didn't want to come in the house again!

She is looking a little fluffy in this pic, so I guess it's about time we got her clipped. Her whiskers/moustache seem(s) to be growing in again and, although she looks quite statesman-like, I am not sure this is what a cocker spaniel should look like.
