Keeping Kirsty company

I've been working from home today but have been absolutely frozen. When I couldn't take it anymore, I went and found the travel rug but got so engrossed in what I was doing that it fell on the floor. Fortunately, to my utter delight, this appealed to Pippin's sensibilities and she decided to lie down on it and have a wee sleep - although I didn't notice until I heard her little snores!

She's been having quite a tiring time since yesterday, cos we've got lots of visitors. My Aunt is down for a visit and Pippin forgot she was here this morning so did quite a lot of woofing when she came down the stairs for breakfast. She also forgot that she was here when she (Pippin) came back from getting the paper with my Dad, so did another round of woofing when she saw her again.

And another lot of relatives arrived this afternoon to see the relative that arrived yesterday, so really poor little Pippin is a bit overwhelmed. She woofed at them for a bit too, but for some reason when I say the word 'quiet' it makes her stop barking. Doesn't seem to work when anyone else says it, so I feel very smug that I am the one with the power to silence her!
