I crawled my way inside the High Pressure steamdrum at unit EC5 through a rather narrow manhole..

It's opened for maintenance and checks for cracks and so on.
The drums also have to be cleaned.
Here you see the scrubbers and cyclones which separate the water from the steam.
The steam flows to the first superheater and the water goes back to the evaporator.
