Last day at Bergum power plant

Today we had the final day of our training about pumps, boilers and humid air.
It ended with a small exam; it was not that difficult.
One of our collegues thought he was allowed to use the books during the exam :-) but he was wrong... so he had to leave the room.


This is a view at the boiler, a single pass Benson boiler with circulating system.
Same as we use at our EC 20.
Th big pipe in the middle is the so-called "Benson Bottle" where separation of the water/steam takes place, and it is used to serve as a "buffer" because a Benson boiler doesn't have a large water capacity.
