riots

i never really understood why i was on twitter until today.

the election results were delayed, which meant that people started to go crazy, which meant lots of mindless rioting. the current president has put a ban on most reporting so the only way to find anything out was via twitter.

it's all been a bit crazy here, with looting and burning cars and other such pathetic nonsense. the good news is that we're all safe! as you can see, my housemate, kristi, made it back from isubilo where they have been locked in for most of the day.

the bad news is that the youth retreat got cancelled. sad times.
