i've spent much of the day planning for the isubilo youth retreat that i'm speaking at this weekend.

i'm grateful for these chances to speak to the young people, not least because it gives me the chance to examine my own heart.

the subject will be 'living sacrifices'. what i've learnt is that we cannot offer ourselves fully until we have a right perspective of God. it's only when we gaze in wonder at the greatness of God that we become able to give freely of ourselves as a response.

what i've also learnt is that i spend far too little time gazing in wonder at the greatness of God.

more of Him, less of me.
