Apache Plume

It rained a bit last night and today. It's been so long since we had any moisture -- I can't tell you how wonderful the smell of rain was.

The Apache Plume is blooming all over town and in the foothills -- this is its prime time, although it will bloom all summer. First there's a white flower, then the pink plume for which it's named. I saw this shortly after it had rained.
