Sometimes simplicity works
I take lots of photos.
Most have a notional purpose - recording a place or event or things I particularly like - like bicycles.
I also take pictures of the relatively mundane - plates of food or even café coffee. They will never become a Flickr 'set' or get added to an appropriate group.
These days all my photos magically get sent to Flickr from my Eye-Fi card or iPhone. Initially set to "private" I can later decide to make them available to all - or not.
Today's mundanity is merely bath bubbles.
The contrast has been increased automatically by the iPhone's camera's HDR setting.
Taking photos has never been so easy. Almost 'everyone' has a camera - if only on their 'phone.
But selecting, framing, taking, cropping, enhancing (etc.) the image is as personal as ever.
Taking/making a photo is simple. No film, no chemicals, no trip to the chemist or darkroom, no waiting.
It's a skill, enhanced by practice, to produce results you are happy with. If others appreciate too that is a bonus.
Blipfoto showcases the wow and the mundane - your choice
Likewise the words can be poetic or practical - your choice.
