Another look at Princes Street

First day of Edinburgh's 'premiere street' being closed (again) for 'remedial' tram works.

It looks like someone has told them that Heras fencing isn't pretty.

This time slightly less is barriered off. So more room for pedestrians and perhaps bicycles...

Most striking thing is the tranquility.

Imagine a future with no barriers and no motor vehicles (including buses).
