African Art

Celebrated my nephew's 21st today. We went to an African themed restaurant called the Chief's Boma. It has a buffet which contained the ordinary to the extra ordinary.
On the starter list: biltong and dry wors
On the mains: kudu, impala and ostrich steaks
Dessert trolley: koeksisters (sorry Booky) and lemon meringue

So we are now just relaxing over a cup of tea - exhausted from all the eating. We were a big family group and had the restaurant nearly all to ourselves. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

There were so many things to Blip today and my camera's battery was flat. Had to rely on the Blackberry and so decided on this image of beaded handwork.
