Mission Gate

We left early for San Diego and stopped in at the Mission San Juan Capistrano. What an amazing place for both history and photography! Around every corner was yet another incredible setting that demanded to be photographed. We arrived early enough that the crowds were sparse, but the sky was a bit dull which forced me to concentrate on the details of this mission founded 1 November, 1776. I came away with more than enough photos to fulfill a week's worth of blip entries, but could only select one.
