Skiving Off, Girly Style

After last night's triumph (and the months of stressful agony that preceded it), I figured I was due one day of relaxation. And it's been GREAT! I had a few lazy (procrastinating) days while I was writing, but I never really enjoyed them, as I had the specter of deadlines looming over my head. This made a nice change.

And this week's incredibly bright red nails have been making me think I should try to be more girly, so I decided to wear these heels around the house all day. I look positively ridiculous - no makeup, t-shirt, shorts...and skyscraper heels. I bought them a month ago and kept them in the box while I mulled over whether I would ever be able to wear them. But people keep telling me the only way to learn is to practice, so I popped them on this morning.

Then I discovered that they make me tall enough to reach the Frosted Flakes without a step-stool, and now I actually want to wear heels.
