Waiting

Milestone alert: This is my first back-blip!

Last night was my first show at the improv theatre in over a month. I knew it had been a while, but I didn't realize quite how long! It was nice to be back - we had a great cast, our newest emcee (with all his fresh ideas!), and a pretty sizable crowd for a weeknight. I got to be the hook in Conducted Rap, and then played Dialects, Repeat Scene Direction, Sit Stand Lean Oscar, and Musical Styles. I always know it'll be a good night when my first AND last scenes are singing games. Those are my favorites. And we got a standing ovation, which is a nice way to end the evening :)

I've always been fascinated by what goes on behind the scenes at any kind of entertainment set, so backstage areas have a special place in my heart. I snapped this from just behind the stage door between scenes sometime in the first act...and then tried my hardest to salvage the iPhone camera quality with iPhoto. (Back-blipped because I didn't get home til after midnight.)
