Hope for Emergencies

Lucky Number 13

I did it! I finished! I started writing in July and it took a good month longer than planned, but I did it! This is what 300 pages worth of sketches look like (broken into 5 groups of 60-page/60-minute shows). Those pages are accompanied by:
- the scented candle I burned while I wrote (can't remember what the scent is called, so we'll just call it "SUCCESS")
- the chocolate bar I got myself as a reward
- 2 scratch-off lottery tickets I got because I had some "free ticket" tickets in my purse, and apparently we now have a scratch-off game called "Celebrate!". When I saw that, I thought, "DON'T MIND IF I DO!"
- the moscato I bought myself (also as a reward), in the glass my friend T made me for my birthday last year. You probably can't read it; it says "Life is KIMBERLICIOUS".

When I finished writing, I made a frittata and a black bean salad so I'll have lunch for the next two days. And now I'm going to do all the crossword puzzles I missed while I was writing, have some [more] wine, watch some MST3K, and order myself the final reward: some new nail polish. Because I am worth it deserve it EARNED IT.

It's the understatement of the year, but TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY :)
