More chutney from September's harvest

Tonight I was to take a photograph for publicity for our local players production coming up at the end of the month. We were there but nobody else was - the rehearsal had been cancelled! So I had to come home and come up with another idea for today's blip.

Chris got some damsons from a friends garden earlier today so he has stewed them to remove the stones and tomorrow he will add the other ingredients to make spiced plum(damson) chutney. The challenge this week is kitchen so this seemed appropriate.
The damsons are a gorgeous colour as you can see from the picture - hope the chutney is as tasty as the colour suggests when it is made.
