A hopeful start

Lovely sunrise today as we set off for the airport - off to see our friend in Italy.

Unfortunately road works meant we found ourselves in Ascoli Piceno unable to get out!!!

We got there eventually at about 9.00pm for a lovely meal provided by Hilary and unfortunately rain!
