Windswept rose.

I noticed the blooms on the Alnwick Rose as I set off for church yesterday but by this morning there was only one still holding on to it's petals. I bought the rose on my first visit to The Alnwick Garden about three years ago and it is not a very open flower as you can see, but is a lovely colour.

The wind was fluttering the petals as I took the picture and a little bit of sun came out to brighten it.

I then swiftly returned indoors!
