There is nothing like home grown..

Last summer, we bought a Victoria Plum tree for the garden - it has featured in earlier blips when it flowered and then when the first tiny green fruit emerged.
 
A few ripe plums had dropped over the past week, and the threat of high winds prompted us to pick the entire crop. Like all produce grown in your own garden, they taste better than anything else in the world, and here they are. Far too good for stewing or jam, and just perfect on their own.
