The Great Below

After our excursions the previous day and the evening drama of volcano night, today was a bit of a doing nothing day.

We popped up to search for the rock pools which are big enough to swim in in the area of Budle Bay, sadly we didn't find them, which may be because of failing memory, failing punctuality, failing heart or failing belief.

Anyway we didn't get to find them which left one of us grumpy, one of us ungrateful and one of us feeling unappreciated.

Quiet afternoon in turned into quiet afternoon and evening in, with the day only slightly saved by a late night trip to a deserted Seahouses where we failed to locate a geocache, then a late night trip to Beadnell Harbour, where we were too scared too search among the eerie abandonded Lime Kilns for another geocache.

Will have to be better tomorrow, in all sorts of ways.......
