Hooray, its finally uploaded..its took three blippin' days but its working for me again!

This was the last day of our short break, and what a brilliant day it was. The morning started with a ramble on the beach at Beadnell Harbour, bit of rock pooling and geocaching, then off to our second destination:

A wild swm at Linhope Spout at a place called Breamish (not to be confused with Beamish), after a brisk but arduous walk of a couple of kilometres, we were rewarded with a beautiful waterfall emptying out into the 'bottomless' pool at Linhope.

Magnificent it was, once we'd overcome the fear of the unknown and settled into it, it was an experience that i do not have the words to adequately describe.

The sensation of being alone, swimming in that pool, riding the currents, and being able to clear your mind of all the minutiae of life and really place yourself in a moment was a priceless one, to be able to share it with my family was a richness beyond compare.
