Record temperature!

The mercury topped out today at 100F - a new record for the date! We spent most of it in the cool of our (thankfully) air-conditioned home, though I did venture out to the shops in the afternoon to buy a few new small appliances for the kitchen. Then, late afternoon we went out to the pool to cool off and get some exercise! Fortunately, this latest heat wave isn't lasting long - tomorrow we are supposed to have showers and storms, followed by cooler temperatures on Monday.
