bye bye Dadcu

back-blipped

Today was Dadcu's birthday and it was also his day for going back to work. He works on a ferry that sails from Wales to Ireland every day and he stays on the ship for a week and then off for a week and so on and so forth. So anyway, today was his day for going back on the ship so we all drove down with him to wave him off. We watched the ferry come in but Amelie was asleep and missed it all! She missed saying bye to Dadcu as well which was a shame. We drove down to a nearby café and had some lunch, she had woken up by this point, and then walked along the breakwater to watch the ship leaving. We stood and waved to Dadcu, who I managed to spot by taking a picture and zooming in on my camera, and then watched him steer the ship out of the harbour (part of his job). After heading back to the car we drove home and popped into a few shops before heading back here for dinner.
