back-blipped

We had a fantastic day today at Whitesands beach and then at St Davids for some fish and chips and cathedral viewing. Amelie was absolutely in her element at the beach, it was a bit windy and cold but she was right in the water and soaked in no time. We had to strip her right down to her top and cardi as her leggins were soaking. She was back in the sea though, with Nana, after that and when it was time to go we had to keep running back to catch her as she made a break for it back to the sea every time we tried to leave. A quick change of clothes once we were back at the car and it was on to St Davids where we had lovely fish and chips, and Amelie enjoyed that too. She ate the fish without the batter, some scampi, some fishcake and some chips and nearly a whole bottle of water. We had a wander afterwards but it was difficult as Amelie had no shoes (they were sea soaked) so we couldn't let her out the buggy and she wanted to walk. We had a look round the Cathedral but Amelie was drowning out the organist so we didn't stay too long. Before we headed back to the car it was ice cream time and change of clothes number two! On the way home we popped in to see the twins and Auntie Emma and Uncle Braidy. Then it was most definitely bedtime!
