A seasider's view

A fast shutter for flowers?

My first back blip :o)

I hadn't anticipated the gusty wind when out blipping yesterday at lunch. Cue the "sports" setting on my wee camera!

It was a breezy, dramatic-cloud-skied, yet sunny, day and all the plants and flowers I had hit on were dancing away.

These anemones and grass weren't wafting as much as the nasturciums I've been keeping an eye on, but I liked the light catching the grass and emphasising the striping on it.

For once I had a Friday night out - a rare treat. A brief showing of the face at leaving drinks, some delectable Japanese nibbles followed by a film with good company. Excellent start to the weekend.
