my daily email from PictureCorrect Tips mentioned a new B/W editor: Topaz B&W Effects...I had a look and decided to give it a try...as it's $30 off the original price.....It's an external editor for iPhoto, Aperture & Photoshop and I think its pretty ok.....

I used it on this photo and am quite pleased....

iPhoto & Aperture folk need to download Topaz Fusion Xpress too, but that's free...B&W cost me £19.- so very reasonable....you can find it here...
