Pontcysyllte Aquaduct

If today sets the tone for September weather, we are in for a treat....23C and warm sunshine...we went back to the aquaduct this time to take a boat ride across it....very nice!

A bit further down the road while we were driving home we saw the boat we took a ride on go across...so quickly stopped the car and snapped it! Spectacular stuff!!! Apparently it wasn't just boiled sugar the used to stick the lining to the base....lots of stuff mixed in it, oxblood among other things.....

What everyone is proud of though is that the aqueduct now is a World Heritage Site!!!!
