GET AWAY!!!

The day broke sunny and cool and you'd never know we were being pounded yesterday by Hurricane Irene. We lost out big weeping willow yesterday which was rather sad. We planted 9 years ago as a twig and watched it grow to about 35-40 feet. So, to walk out yesterday in the pounding rain and see it lying on its side was unexpected. However, it is only a tree, right?

The hummingbirds never let up yesterday in spite of the winds and sheets of rain. Today, they started in bright and early and haven't stopped all day. I was a bit torn as to which photo to post, so will also post a few others in my blipfolio
