Hat's off to Ebay!

I am off to a wedding in 4 weeks - a couple that my eldest daughter takes credit for 'fixing up'! She is a bridesmaid and is very excited.........so am I - she moves to Cardiff to go to uni a few days before and I get to have her back for the weekend.

I haven't been to a wedding for ages and am really looking forward to it. I have bought a lovely dress from Monsoon, borrowed a shawl from the mother in law and gave in to the temptation of whether to wear a hat or not.

Some people look elegant in hats - I am not one of them. I look slightly derranged but am determined to put it on for at least some of the day. If I turn up and everyone else is hatless or have gone for fascinators, then I may leave it in the car but I am going to give it a go.

Being a newly converted Ebay addict I bought one from there and very nice it is too. If it gets left behind, sat on , covered in champagne or stolen, at least it' was only £2.99 and even though I may look derranged I am sure I will do so in a slightly more classy manner than normal.
