Fridays - bad times, Big icy voddie - good times!

Well it's official - in the world of holiday properties, Friday is my equivalent of a Monday morning!

For those of you that aren't familiar with St Ives in Cornwall - it's a very popular holiday destination and most people tend to leave their brains at home as soon as they hit the A30. Driving anywhere is a nightmare - nobody walks on the pavements, people push their kids and babies in buggies into the middle of the road, all the restaurants have their deliveries, people try to get into their holiday homes early...........the list goes on and on.

It is now 7.50 pm and I have just sat down with a delicious glass of ice vodka and diet ( obviously ) coke . I have still to do the work schedules for tomorrow but , in the words of Dennis Norden, it will be 'alright on the night'.

It's the last weekend of August, the weather forecast is rubbish and I have a huge blister on my left heel. I think it's time for a refill..........
