Another weekend, another beach volleyball tournament - we are in Southern California after all. This weekend is the famous Manhatten Beach Open sponsored by Jose Cuervo. Last week at Hermosa we watched (and I photographed 20 August 2011) Pedro Brazao play some amazing defense. This week he is doing the job at the net, putting the ball away against a huge block time after time during his second round match in this prestigious tournament. He and his partner won both matches today to remain in the winner's bracket for tomorrow's action.
