A Gender Divide...

Although this looks rather emotional, it really is just a good catch. It was during the middle of a rather rare hair cut for Bethany.

We were cutting Ewan's hair which was the usual clippers number 4 affair when the subject came up about Bethany's hair. This is where the gender divide manifested itself. The idea of cutting Bethany's hair hadn't occurred to MrsTFP whatsoever. I however was fully behind the subject and have been angling for a wee tidy up for at least a couple of years.

Now Mrs TFP is very of the opinion that the longer the hair the better. I however rather like the hair more tidy and not hugely long. She is only five so it will grow back and it was only a couple of inches and it's still below her shoulder line but I do think it looks rather pretty aside from the practicality of bath and brushing times. MrsTFP did do a wonderful job of it and when Bethany saw it in a mirror, her smile was priceless.
