Moving on Up

Where did the six weeks of the summer holidays go? That it, all done and back to school time. Alarms set, new troos, shirt and tie laid out the night before to ensure a smooth start to the day. Poor Jake was dragged out into the garden for an early morning blip before the sleep was properly out of his eyes :)

So that is him on his first day at secondary school. No more 5 minute walk to school but instead he will have to make sure to catch the bus at just gone 8am. Instead of being one of the big boys in a small village school he will now be a wee boy in a big school. All change :) Part of that old growing up thing I guess. Sigh....
